Write important concepts and facts from what you learned from relevant Science books into your Science Journal.

Examples of Science books from the National Library branches

Relevant Science books from the library are usually colourful, well-researched and interesting.  Such books help you to have a better conceptual understanding of the topic and will give them greater confidence to answer examination questions.

•Extensive reading will improve your English.

In the slide show below are examples of books on experimental skills and the scientific method.

Different books may be available at different branches of the library.

 

Sometimes the books may not be available because they may be loaned out.

 

It is possible to reserve books at a cost.

Examples of call numbers: 501, 507, 507.2, 507.8

 

There may be other call numbers other than these.  

Notes should be neatly written in the form of questions and answers.

 

Besides questions and answers, students who know how to draw mind maps or concept maps can draw them based on what they learned from the book.

 

Draw relevant diagrams, label them and write your explanation.

 

Keywords should be underlined with a ruler.

Write below your notes the title of the book from which you made the notes.
